ANIMALS AND OLD TOWNS

This is a very scary pig, reminds me of the ones in the film ´Red Dragon´with Anthony Hopkins.

On the other hand, these cute little things are not very scary.

Here is a photo from the top of the spire in Bremen church showing numerous beer drinking places in the sun

Two photos of a very beautiful old town called Hunn.Mundheim, about 30 kms south west of Gottingen. Here, two small rivers meet and become the Weser River which exits through Bremen way to the north. This is the area for 100 miles around where you can find fantastic biking roads, and also go up into the Harz 'mountains' for some real pine forest-lake scenery

Here's a shot of one of the lakes north east of Gottingen in the Harz.

Spot the Tiger 900 in Poland on the way to the stunning girls on the coast.

In Germany, things are very efficient, for example, most of the light switches work. Here is a photo of something even better, free food and water for your dog at some motorway servivce stations, isn't that really a kind thought. It brought tears to my eyes thinking of all the happy doggies who must have refreshed themselves at these troughs.

That seems to be all the photos I can put on a blog at one time so the next will have some more.

Quick recap, I went to Cologne after Gottingen and managed to contract the dreaded gout again and so did not see anything of the city until I was on the way out, where I managed to grab a photo of the immense cathedral there.

Thanks for putting me up for a few nights Carsten and next time we'll do the town as you had planned!!

Passed by Osnabrück on my way from Cologne back to Ellen and Ralf's house in Bremen, and had lunch with Juergen and Annette's older son, Tim. The town is not too big and I saw most of it getting lost trying to drive 500 mtrs to meet up with Tim at a German brewery restaurant. The food was good but I'm not really into the micro brewery beer as it never seems to be cold enough so you can't actually drink enough of it!!?

So here I am again in Bremen till Tuesday when I have a 500 mile stretch from here to a mate near Gatwick in UK. Visited Oldenburg this morning, again a great town, they're all so great if they're not too big, and I love the old parts of them.

So, more photos next time and maybe an update of the written word if I make the last long push. Back to the Philippines on Gulf Air on the 5th August, I wish the weather and the road would never end, this is great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
